Bloglovin Guide
For those of you who either have bloglovin, and don't use it, or for those of you who don't know what it is, here's a guide to how to use it. First thing you need to sign up for an account before you start on bloglovin. After that make sure you have exported all your Google reader reads, by using Google takeout. From there you want to find the file that you just downloaded called subscriptions, and change the extension to .OPML as opposed to .XML. Which is how your going to be able to transfer all your reads into bloglovin. For a more in depth tutorial on how to do this just Google: How to change an extension on a file. And you should be able to find some answers.
After you have uploaded all your reads onto bloglovin, the next thing is to get familiar with bloglovin! Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, it's now time for the fun stuff! So you will come to your homepage. Now if it looks scary at first, don't fret. It's suppose to look like that, until you change up some of your categories. To make separate categories of all your subscriptions, go to Following. You can make folders, and stick which ever blogs you read into which ever folder you want.
After you organize all the blogs you read into their own catagory, you will then want to make sure you have the bloglovin toolbar open. This is the easiest way for you to read blogs, and to comment on them at the same time.
After that, you can just click on the title of the blog post, and it should take you to this page. You can simply click on the toolbar to be taken to a specific post by a certain blogger, or you can browse by newer, or older posts. And you can also like a post! FYI: Liking a post is like the Google reader way of starring a post.
Just a little note to those of you who don't know why Bloglovin doesn't show you the entire post, on the homepage, it's because it's a little preview. Once you click on the title of the post, it will take you to the actual post. And the great thing about bloglovin? Every time you click on a blog you give the person a page view, and commenting is made so much easier!
